La Palma y El Tucan - Finca Las Palmas Mixed Fermentation, Colombia 12oz


This lot comes to us from sister/brother team Nubia and Jesus Sanchez in Cundinamarca, Colombia. Nubia inherited the farm 14 years ago, and enlisted her brother’s help in cultivating coffee on the land along with goats, plantains and other fruits. In 2014, they partnered with our friends at La Palma y El Tucán farm and mill, gaining access to an expert coffee picking team and a state-of-the-art wet mill, where this coffee was processed using a mix of lactic and acetic fermentations. The coffee is dried on raised beds then meticulously sorted, and the attention to detail shines through in the cup.
