Celinga is a washing station in the village of Foge in the well-known Yirgacheffe region in Ethiopia. Every summer brings the anticipation of fruity and sweet natural processed (coffee cherries are dried with the pulp and skin left on, then hulled) coffees from Yirgacheffe, but this is our first year receiving coffee from Celinga. With some of the classic natural Yirgacheffe flavor notes and some surprises too, we’re glad to add Celinga to the canon of natural process coffees we look forward to roasting and serving.
